The Häfele joint sealing cord SAFE is a high-quality circular profile seal made of closed-cell polyethylene foam, which has been specially developed to effectively prevent tensile and thermal losses. This innovative joint sealing cord from Häfele is ideal for securely filling the back of construction joints that are to be sealed with sprayable sealants. It stands out for its excellent compatibility with all common sealants and prevents unwanted 3-side bonding when used as a backing profile for sealing compounds.
SAFE offers numerous advantages that make it an excellent choice for professional applications. It harmonizes effortlessly with various sealants and materials and meets the requirements for joint design according to DIN 18540. It has also been tested according to GEV-EMICODE® and is certified as very low in emissions (EC1 PLUS), ensuring excellent indoor air quality. This PE round cord is also suitable for moisture-exposed joints and is water- and moisture-repellent, ensuring its durability and reliability. It can even be used with absorbent materials without compromising its performance. It is elastic, flexible, and free of plasticizers, ensuring easy installation and long-lasting sealing. In addition, it is resistant to aging and provides a long-lasting sealing solution.
Another advantage of this ISO-CELL PE round cord is its versatility. It can be used as a stuffing and backing material in various application areas, including backfilling, connection joints, construction and expansion joints, profile glass seals, and cavity fillings. The foam cord is simply compressed into the joint or cavity and can then be covered with commercially available sprayable sealants according to DIN 18540 to ensure a perfect seal.
The sealing tape is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, thanks to its water-repellent surface structure.

Hab das Dichtband eben für diese Funktion gekauft!Was soll man sagen, es füllt den zu verschließenden Spalt gut aus und verschließt ihn dadurch dicht.Kaufempfehlung

Habe die Dichtschnur beim Neuverfugen der Silikonkanten benutz - funktioniert prima!Eventuell etwas teuer für 10m.

Hat bei mir von der Dicke her gepasst. Natürlich nicht an jeder Stelle, aber da kann die Ware nichts für. An den Stelle habe ich einfach doppelt reingestopft.
