You will need the following utensils:

• Drilling template
• Tape measure
• Pencil
• Wood drill or universal drill bit
• Possibly screw clamp and a piece of wood
• Drawer or door handle for the kitchen with M4 threaded screws
• Vacuum cleaner

Kitchen Door Handle - Steps for Installation

Are you ready to install your new furniture handles? Then follow the following simple steps.

Determine installation direction

Vertical or horizontal? First, decide how you want to install the door handles for your kitchen:

• Vertical: Slide the template to the upper edge and hold the handle accordingly. Then note the positions.
• Horizontal: Mark the middle with a pencil and choose the appropriate height. You can also mount the handles offset, depending on your design taste.

Apply drill holes

Now apply adhesive tape. But why? Because otherwise, the material can tear off and splinter on the surface during drilling. This can particularly happen on the back where drilling takes place. Alternatively, you can attach a wooden block on the back, into which you then drill. This way, you also avoid fraying of the drill holes where the drill bit exits.

Now mark the drilling positions and then drill the holes for your kitchen door handles. Double-check if you are using the correct drill bit.

Mount the door handle

Now you just have to clean the holes before screwing in the door handles. If the holes are too small, you can enlarge them slightly with the drill. Done!
